| 2010 MSBA EXPO SEMINAR SCHEDULE “Sea Tent” Saturday, March 6, 2010 10:30am – 11:30am “Big Bass in Cape Cod Bay” 2010 was a great year for Big Bass in Cape Cod Bay and Captain George Doucette of Cape Cod Fishing School fished this area from May until October. In this presentation Capt. George will educate anglers on the proper use of Bunker Spoons, Tube & Worm and other techniques local Charter Captains use to make their clients and maybe you smile. 12:00 noon – 1:00pm “Using Electronics to Find More Fish” Recent advances in electronics technology make on board navigation equipment a more powerful fishing tool than ever before. Locate fish with radar, identify them with sonar, then plot and track them by GPS and autopilot. Marine electronics make your time on the water more productive, more efficient and most of all more enjoyable. Raymarine product expert Jim McGowan provides tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your electronics investment, and shows you a glimpse of what’s ahead. Techniques apply to all brands. 1:30pm - 2:30pm “Giant Bluefin Tuna from a Kayak” David Lamoureux of Fortitudefishing.com whose catch of a 157 lb. tuna from his kayak off Cape Cod was widely report I the press this past summer will detail this experience, his equipment, tactics and safety along with unveiling an unpublished video of the actual landing of the record tuna, Dave will describe his "Nantucket sleigh ride" with an 800 lb tuna 3:00pm – 4:00pm “State Record Mahi Mahi” Captain Eric Stapelfeld of Hairball Charters has fished offshore from Falmouth to Florida and back. Last year he guided New England Patriots Ty Warren to catch the New State Record Mahi Mahi. Come learn the tail of this prize winning adventure and pick up tips to improve your offshore angling success. 4:30pm – 5:30pm “Trolling for Stripers w/ All The Toys” Captain Chuck Fisher is a nationally known Charter Captain who educates anglers across the country about the legendary Striper Fishing that can be found in Chesapeake Bay. In the mid Atlantic Region it is common to see high line anglers trolling a spread of 6, 7 or even 8 lines, combining techniques in a manner most New Englanders think about Tuna. Come learn how they do it where the Bass spend their winter.
