| MSBA Annual Derby First Fish Contest MSBA is proud to announce the MSBA Annual Derby First Fish contest. In an effort to raise participation in our annual derby and to enhance the benefits of coming to the monthly meetings, we have created a new program beginning May 1st. Any member in good standing may join the Annual Derby First Fish Contest. That's right, to be in the contest, members can only sign up at the April MSBA meeting. Good Luck to All MSBA E-Board |
The contest rules are listed below.
1. The contest is open to any MSBA member eligible to enter fish in the MSBA Annual Derby.
2. Members can only sign up for the contest at the April MSBA Meeting.
3. The contest costs $10 per member (the Annual Derby is free to all members).
4. The contest begins with the start of the Annual Derby at 12 am on May 1st.
5. The contest is won by the member that enters the first Striped Bass in the
MSBA Annual Derby All Tackle Division (minimum size is 36" for this contest, sorry Fly Guys).
6. To enter a fish in this contest a member just enters a Striped Bass in the Annual Derby All Tackle division,
all Annual Derby rules apply.
7. The winner receives 1/2 or 50% of the total contest entry fees.
8. The other half of the entry fees will buy the final prizes in the May MSBA General Raffle.
