| The Fishing Academy will be holding our 3rd Annual Fundraiser on Saturday June 9, 2007 at the Brighton Elks Lodge, 326 Washington St. Brighton from 5:00PM until 11:00PM. Last year, The Fishing Academy took over 1,000 kids off the streets and out fishing, through our school-based, summer and after-school programs. We teach lifeskills such as teamwork, self-confidence, discipline, patience and respect, while bringing up new generations of anglers. Proceeds from this fundraiser go toward sponsoring needy kids in our summer program. We are seeking raffle and auction items (rods, charters etc.) if you would like to help. Tickets for the fundraiser are $15.00 and can be purchased at the door. Contact me if you would like flyers or more info.
