MSBA Vice-President Lenny Harkins Makes An Appearance!
Submitted by Jim Dow

For anyone that attended last nights monthly club meeting, you already know this,
but for any members that could not make it, we were all happy and surprised to see
our second-in-command Lenny out of the hospital and at the meeting.

He was wearing a brace around his neck for stabilization, but looked very good for
everything that he's been through. He still has some discomfort and a full recovery is
several months away, but was feeling good enough to come to the meeting, fulfill his
duties as an elected officer of our club and show his thanks to the club members that had
sent well-wished his way.

For myself, it was great to see him in such good spirits (and in an upright postion).
His father-in-law, club member Jimmy Reeves was nice enough to drive down and
offer his chauffeur services to Lenny to and from the meeting. Lenny joked that as nice as it was for Jimmy to
do that for him, Lenny was hoping to get a free dinner out of it. On the contrary, they stopped at Dunkin' Donuts
on the way to the club and it was Lenny that actually ended up buying Jimmy a coffee! Touche' Jimmy!!!!!!

Lenny is a great guy and does a lot of things for our club, if you have a minute, please drop him a note, I'm sure
it will help so that he knows that we appreciate all he does. His long-term prognosis is good for a full recovery,
but it will take between 3 and 6 months for him before he'll be fully recovered.

You can either
send him an e-mail by clicking here
