Massachusetts Striped Bass Association Welcomes It's New Members For The 2008 Season

To all new members of the MSBA, first and foremost, welcome to our club, our family and our circle of friends.
You are encouraged to take full advantage of everything that your membership entitles you to. We are far more
than just a fishing club, we are friends that enjoy spending time with each other, telling stories, enjoying each
others company and obviously taking part in the greatest pastime ever, sportfishing.
The monthly meetings always have some form of entertainment, free refreshments, great raffle tables and plenty
of time to share fishing lore, tips, secrets and strategies.
Every year, there are fishing trips organized by various members called Mystery Trips. These fishing outings
are held monthly and are a great way to get to know other members, new spots to fish and how to fish them.
We have an annual club derby which runs from May 1st to November 30th which is free to all club members.
There are pins given out for the largest fish of each species on a monthly basis as well as trophies
and plaques at our annual banquet for several different categories.
We, as a club take part in several fishing tournaments from Maine to Rhode Island throughout the year.
Each December, we have our annual holiday party and toy drive where members bring new and unwrapped
gifts to the meeting. At the end of the night, these toys are delivered to the Boston Childrens Hospital.
