| The purpose of this section is to further disseminate fishing information to anyone interested in the activity of saltwater sport fishing. This section will be updated every couple of months and will include pictures and questions answered by MSBA members that have knowledge of fishing tackle, equipment, lures, plugs and/or the art of seeking out and landing the big fish. |
Larry was not only more than happy to be the first MSBA member to be interviewed for this new section of the website, he was a most gracious host. He gave me more information, knowledge and time than I could have ever expected from anyone. He spent hours with me walking me through each step of his custom lure making business from a pile of wood to the lathe work, shaping, sanding, weighting and wiring of each lure. He even gave me a demonstration on painting his creations. This interview was the most interesting and informative event of my fishing life. If you have fished with one of his lures, or any custom handcrafted lures without knowing how it's made, you would be just amazed at the time, concentration, effort and attention to detail it takes to make them.
